At work I'm surrounded by crazy Hillary supporters who until this election I had thought of as rational, sensible human beings. It made my day to find your post on this and to find it so well written. It's not that I hate Hillary or anything, but she has done a disservice to women and she didn't need to do it. I felt it was a cold attempt at grasping power any which way without a care as to who it hurt. She ran a mean spirited, unorganized, cocky campaign and I agree that it's because of "sexism" that she got as many votes as she did. THANK GOD! I do like Michelle Obama, she is genuine and that is rare nowadays. I also really find that her and Barack's relationship seems really genuine and that he truly loves her which is sadly rare. Compare the way he looks at and speaks to/about her to the way McCain treats Cindy! Great work! I look forward to reading more. What an interesting way to look at an otherwise uninteresting show. I found this article just by googling "sex and the city hate" as i do with most things i truely hate while the rest of the world seems to love it up. in the past i have been through searches like "paris hilton hate", "destiny's child hate" etc... thankfully guys like matt stone and trey parker did a fantastic southpark episode on paris hilton's "meaningfull" character! I will be giving speeches and leading workshops for both students and teachers on how to think outside of stereotypes, (because it is possible to ride a loud macho sportbike and teach ballet to toddlers in tutu's). I'm tired of talking to people who, even in their 50's, still feel limited in what they can do by some label that was pressed on them when they were young, which they used as the only guideline for what they did in their life... Make one mistake, get labeled a "bad girl" and you find yourself doing "bad girl" things. Join the Yearbook Club and think of yourself as a "nice girl" and find that there are a lot of exciting things you "wished" you were brave enough to do. Forget all that... if you want to listen to death metal while baking cookies for your volunteer time with seniors, go ahead, one thing doesn't preclude the other.
